Those springs are very easy to lose and most of us who've done them will have had one fall out. Especially when you take the movement out of something like a ga100, which can be tricky to recase. Since they're not held in, you can actually take them out and put them aside so you don't lose one. Just remember to reinstall, or the alarm won't work.
